Definition 2026-09-03 lC wall [Input: ZK903lC.J]
Description (summary) 2026-09-03 lC Stone wall running east–west, almost parallel to the revetment wall (^wall19). The wall consists of a single row of stones and is preserved for two to three courses. It forms a clear and well-defined boundary at the base of the revetment wall. It was built, at least in part, against the material forming the second escarpment and rested directly on Mittani-period accumulations. Towards the west, the wall gradually becomes less compact, eventually consisting of only a few isolated stones (J1f314), thus more closely resembling ^wall27. Unlike the latter, however, this wall is located at a higher elevation and closer to the revetment wall. This difference in elevation may be related to the progressive accumulation of Mittani-period deposits within the square, which increased gradually but relatively rapidly over time.
